Guest Edit: What To Wear When You're Expecting - Deauvanne from Mama Stylista

You don’t have to compromise your style during pregnancy! I am now in my third trimester and throughout my pregnancy I’ve maintained the style that I usually wear. When people think of maternity wear they picture frumpy, shapeless clothing.  Pregnancy doesn’t have to be frumpy! If you already know what suits you, stick to your original style and just go up a size or two in tops and dresses.

Maxi dresses and wrap dresses look great and suit everyone! Oversized tops, tunic dresses kimonos and cropped jackets are flattering too. Katies have a fabulous range of maxi dresses, dresses, tops and jackets you can add to your maternity wardrobe.

Choose voluminous maxi-dresses with stretch, empire-line dresses, bright tunic tops, printed kimonos and stretch wrap-tops. Stretchy jersey maxi-skirts and harem pants with an elasticated waist can be worn under the bump.

Make sure to add colour to your maternity wardrobe, it’s easy to just wear safe and boring black, I’m guilty too! Choose bright, bold colours and prints for Spring/Summer. Katies also have a fabulous range of jewellery, scarves and accessories to liven up an outfit and make you feel extra feminine.
