Part of my collaboration with Katies this spring/summer is to share with you my favourite pieces when new arrivals land in store and online.
I represent the ageless category for Katies and the most important thing for me when buying clothes is comfort without compromising on style. Fashion is all about confidence; just because you are older doesn’t mean you can’t wear clothing that’s current and on trend. Just remember if you feel good you’ll look good.
You can’t go wrong with navy and white and these printed cotton sateen pants are a ‘must have’, they are so comfy. They actually remind me of pics I’ve seen of my mum in the 60’s.
Worn with a solid colour top with heels or flats make them perfect for day or night. I wore them on a date night with hubby paired with red wedges and a red singlet and got a wolf whistle so don’t be afraid to add colour.
I’ve chosen the white embroided off the shoulder top. It’s actually longer but I’ve tucked it under. I know I will wear this top to death this summer. Worn with shorts, skirts or pants it’s a winner. It’s not even summer yet and I’ve already worn it at least a dozen times; that’s less than $6 per wear. I can justify any purchase.
My go to every time I have a tantrum and start screaming ‘I have no clothes’ (we have all had these moments) is white jeans. If I was only going to buy 1 piece this season (yeah right) it would be white jeans. They can be worn with anything. If you haven’t been in store to try on Katies jeans put it on your to do list now. I’ll let you be the judge of how comfortable and flattering they are. Once you have would love to hear your thoughts.
What I love about the tunic dress is its versatility and the shape which is flattering on all body shapes. Worn on its own as a dress or teamed with jeans looks great. I love pieces that I can wear different ways; it’s like buying 2 pieces for the price of 1.
Sydney at the moment still isn’t quite sure if it’s summer or winter. Some days are sunny and 28 degrees then the next it’s 19 and showers. So the best stand by piece you can have is this Linen blend crop jacket.
Great for the office and cooler evenings.
